About this Nominee

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about us. We are very small sanctuary. I Stephanie have been rescuing since I was about 7 yrs old. My Dad was a K9 Officer. I learned in the 70's no dog or cat was going be left behind under my Dad's watch. At 80 he is still helping.
Here at Whiskers we have older dogs & cats that owners have passed away, left behind after owner moved or just dumped. Blind, missing legs, deaf, PTSD dogs from dog fighting abuse, etc. If they are not adopted. This is their home now always & furever.
We offer them the family type environment rather then shelter. We gladly work with any other rescues or shelters. We also have a "Street Dog feeding program". We have a few wonderful members that are our Pet Food Ambassadors. They go out on the Streets and help feed homeless dogs & cats. We do try to rescue when we are able.
