About this Nominee
Tejas Rodeo produces a professional rodeo featuring bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, and more every Saturday night from March through November, followed by a live country and western band and dance.
Gates open at 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, guests can enjoy delicious Texas BBQ on the rodeo grounds or dine in our award-winning steakhouse. After getting your "Taste of Tejas," grab a cold drink and explore our western-style grounds. Stop by the Tejas Company Store to shop our curated western boutique featuring cowboy boots, hats, apparel, jewelry, gifts, and other unique finds. If an adrenaline rush is what you're after, the mechanical bull lets you put your bull riding skills to the test! After all the food and fun, make your way into our rodeo arena for an action-packed 1.5-hour show starting at 7:30 PM. Sign your kiddos up for mutton bustin' or let them join the calf scramble. Following the rodeo, guests can enjoy a live country and western band and dance until midnight.
Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon is open year-round Thursday through Sunday and is like a mini museum, giving guests a glimpse into the Old West. You'll find saddles, chaps, spurs, rifles, and original Western art dating back to the late 1800s. Along with the authentic Western atmosphere, you'll find hearty cowboy fare, including our signature KC Steak and homemade dishes inspired by old family recipes and cowboy cookbooks. If you're thirsty, you'll find local spirits, ice-cold beer, wine, and a delicious cocktail menu.
We also host events big and small. From birthday parties and graduations to holiday celebrations, team-building events, weddings, and corporate gatherings, whatever the occasion, we can help you create a fun and memorable experience.
