About this Nominee

The Warriors Remembrance Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Spring Branch, Texas, was founded by a determined 10-year-old, Nicholas Aidan, who was deeply moved by the neglect of veterans’ graves in local cemeteries. What began as one boy’s mission to honor the forgotten has grown into a movement of restoration, remembrance, and service.

Sixteen months later, Nicholas’s vision has expanded into a full-scale initiative supporting veterans’ families and preserving their legacies. The Foundation now provides care for over 350 veterans across 10 cemeteries in Bexar, Blanco, Comal, and Guadalupe counties, with a goal of reaching 500 veterans by the end of 2025.

We assist widowed spouses and next-of-kin with VA death and burial benefit filings, offer financial aid for families struggling with upfront funeral costs, and provide hands-on care—installing, resetting, and restoring veterans’ grave markers and medallions. Our team also conducts genealogy research to help descendants verify military service and works to advocate for improved legislation to better serve veterans and their families.

Most importantly, we don’t stop at one-time efforts. We provide ongoing, perpetual care for veterans’ graves in rural and community cemeteries—ensuring they are never forgotten, neglected, or lost to time.

At the Warriors Remembrance Foundation, we believe every veteran deserves lasting honor—not just in name, but in care. Join us in our mission. Together, we can ensure no veteran is ever forgotten again.
